After we discuss about past continuos tense , Now i would explain abaout past pefect, Past perfect tenses are used in connecting activities or events conducted in the past, but prior to the activity that occurs at a time after the event or activity.

Artinya : apakah kamu tahu tensis ini? setelah kita membahasa pascontinuos tense , sekarang saya akan membahas tentang pas perfect, past perfect digunakan dalam menghubungkan sebuaha aktivitas atau kejadian waktu lampau sebelumnya dengan kejadian atau aktivitas lampau setelahnya.

The formula pf past perfect tense which consit of three ( Artinya past perfect tense terdiri atas 3 bagian yaitu ) :

1. Past perfect tense in positive formula : Subject  + Had + Verb 3 or Past participle
example :

1. My sister had slept 
2. My father had wrote letter

explaination ; in the example " my sister " is a subject , " Had " and slept ( verb 3 ) is characteristic feature of past perfect formula.

2. Past perfect tense in negative formula : subject + Had + Not + verb 3 or past partciple
example :

1. My sister had not slept
2. My brother had not wrote letter

explanation : word of " not " after had is characteristic feature of negative sentense this very easy in other example : My Mother Had not played playstation.

3. Past perfect tense in introgative formula : Had + Subject + v3 or past partciple

example :

1. Had My sister slept ?
2. Had my brother wrote latter?

explanation : " Had " in the first Introgative sentence of past perfect sentense is charactersitic feature , so you must put " had " in the first senten if you want to make introgative sentence.

Tips : if you going to make this sentence past perfect, i suggest to open the dictionary, the verb associated with changes in v1 into v3.

The fuction Of past perfect tense :

1. past perfect is used to show how often events are conducted in the past ( Artinya : past perfect berfungsi untuk menunjukan seberapa sering kejadian yang dilakukan pada masa lampau)
2. past perfect is used to express the hope that was not accomplished ( Artinya : past perfect berfungsi untuk mengekspresikan harapan yang tidak kesampaian )
